Anointed singer and gifted gospel songwriter
Jenise is a contemporary gospel singer/songwriter, raised in Norcross, GA and born in Queens, NY. Her passion for music began at an early age as a challenge from her father and manager Bishop Steve B. Walters, to write a song if she seriously wanted to become a gospel singer. Jenise began writing at the age of eleven and took her love of serving God’s people through music very seriously. Her first EP, The Call released in June of 2015 and landed her two Rhythm of Gospel Awards in for Best Performance By an Urban Contemporary Artist, Best Urban Contemporary Female Vocalist, and a Pearl Award for Best New Artist. Since then Jenise has continued to release her own music as well as contributed to writing hits for other artists.
Sing Unto the Lord A New Song
In 2013 Jenise participated in her first collaboration with spoken work artist Glenn Taylor adding the hook and finishing touches to his single, Mold Me.
